On 2/25/25 the Springvale Township Fire Department had the privilege of presenting Live Saving Awards to six deserving Fire department members, four from SFD, one from Alanson Littlefield Fire Department, and one from the Pellston Fire Department. These members responded to a call for two persons who fell through the ice on Pickerel Lake back in January.
